Volvo Ocean Race – Clive and Teresa Evans are on the finish line in Gothenburg, Sweden this week

On 4th October 2014 7 teams left Alicante, Spain for one of the world’s toughest sailing races- the longest sporting event in the world.

After more than 8 months racing around the globe, the twelfth Volvo Ocean Race ends this week in Gothenburg – Sweden.

By then the competing boats will have covered 39,000 nautical miles and visited more than 10 ports around the world.

The individual teams will have spent hundreds of hours fighting extreme weather conditions and raging seas.

For an incredible finish

Gothenburg is also the home of Jool Capital -the company behind Custodian Life, who host our innovative new POLARIS investment product, built especially for yacht crew and launched in January this year.

To mark this occasion and the launch of our exciting new YFSOL STARS investment strategy – our directors Clive and Teresa Evans are joining directors of Eburacum [YFSOL strategy reserachers], Jool Capital and Custodian Life, to support those of our clients who have taken part in this exhausting race.

They are aboard a chartered 23m Princess motor yacht on the finish line -as guests of Jool Capital.

Introducing YFSOL Polaris and YFSOL Stars

Our new YFSOL STARS strategy, available in POLARIS from July, and hosted by Custodian Life is also a team effort over the long term, harnessing six of the world’s proven best investment gurus from both sides of the Atlantic; Warren Buffett [USA], Richard Driehaus [USA], Bruce Berkowitz [USA] , Neil Woodford [UK], Ed Leggett [UK] and Crispin Odey [UK] – working together this team could have turned your EUR 100,000 in POLARIS into EUR 186,500 in just the last five years.

Can they repeat this?
